  2. 1. The tutorial teaches you how to use live preflight on inDesign.
    2. This could be used with projects to tell what it is exactly what you need to fix, and to get inDesign to identify what is wrong by setting limits.
    3. It takes you step by step on what to do and you get to see what button does what and what you have to press to get a certain window.
    4. The weaknesses are the guy’s voice is super monotone and easy to block out and he doesn’t go through absolutely everything, which I think would be very helpful.

  4. 1. It teaches how to draw a “realistic” manga face
    2. This tutorial can help students draw manga characters, to the point the character looks real. But it’s still manga. I can see animation students using this tutorial and animating their manga character.
    3. The strengths are, he goes step by step and sticks with the basics instead of going into the advanced stuff because not everyone can draw extremely detailed “realistic” people.
    4. I didn’t really notice any weakness with this tutorial.

1.) This tutorial is on how to draw an owl. It has ten steps and has pictures for each step.

3.) A strength in the way this person teaches is that the drawings alongside the steps are very clear and easy to follow. In addition, the artist gives some information on the different types of owls in case you want to draw a different type
4.) A weakness in the teaching of this tutorial is that the steps are not very detailed. It just says ‘draw a beak’ instead of ‘a beak that is curved a lot at the top…’ In addition, it is only a simple design and does not have many details that I would be interested in learning

    4. The weaknesses of the way the tutorial teaches the skill is that it over a half an hour. Frankly, I do not believe that that is very easy time to work with.

  19. 1. Mark Crilley shows you how to draw a realistic (photorealistic) eye. He has the camera focused on the paper, and you watch as he draws an eye.
    2. I think the skills learned in this video could be utilized in all sorts of art-related projects. He emphasizes the importance of making sure that you draw what you actually SEE and not what you THINK you see. Perhaps we could draw something from a picture or from real life, with the focus being on what we actually see. In my art class at my previous school, we turned a picture upside down and drew it so that we couldn't draw what we thought we were seeing. Something like that might be good.
    3. Mark Crilley talks to you throughout the video in a calm, friendly manner that makes learning an easy and enjoyable experience.
    4. He didn't draw live the whole time, since it took awhile, and he had to basically summarize what he had just done. But I suppose if he hadn't done that, the video would have gone on for a long time.
