Blog Assignment #16 1/31-2/4

This week you will sketch something different for each day of the week. Below are the themes for each day. All sketches may incorporate color:

Monday: Joy, elation, jubilation
Tuesday: Dramatic, sad, solemn
Wednesday: Fear, terror, horror
Thursday: Surreal, whimsical
Friday: Your choice

You will turn in a sketch for each day/theme and also answer the following questions in the blog:

1. What symbols do you feel represent each of the moods/themes and why?
2. Share a time/scene in your life that best reflects ONE of these moods/themes.

Felice Varini: Optical Illusion
Felice Varini is a Swiss artist who was nominated for the 2000/2001 Marcel Duchamp Prize, known for his geometric perspective-localized paintings of rooms and other spaces, using projector-stencil techniques.
