1. Filmmaking
ReplyDelete2. I think that the Digital Media and Filmmaking department can collaborate on a documentary about the making of Sacred Sky Sacred Earth. Design and Photography can take photos of the making of the exhibit and they can both be incorporated into the making of featurette.
3. I think that filmmaking can also create video art inspired by Sacred Sky Sacred Earth and then project it onto sheets hung up on the beach during the exhibition. It would be a fun way to get involved.

ReplyDelete2. ummm..... i dont know if you mean like a video or like fillming it. if it was a video or an animation, we could make a video about the earth and like what we can do to save it and stuff like that.
3. my strand could make an animation of like a person enjoying the earth and products of the earth like fruits and such.

3. Nothing. Animation cannot do anything related to this event. And quite frankly, I don't want to. There doesn't really seem to be a point to it, and it looks kind of hippy-ish anyway.

3. We could do some photography to be displayed at the event or we could take pictures at the event, but i think they already have photographers. other then that we already made logos so theres not much else we can do.

ReplyDelete2. Well digital media can really help with the spreading of information. They can create ads and advertisements that will spread the word about the event. They can also document the event .

ReplyDelete~Film could capture the natural elements that you feel when you are at the beach and in nature. Animation could animate the elements that you feel when you are at the beach and in nature. Graphics could make advertisements. But really, the other departments of CoSA could do so much better because they can do it at the beach and really tie together the arts and nature.

ReplyDelete2.) I believe that video production can take footage at the actual event, create a film, and put it on the event’s website. Also, animators and filmmakers can create commercials to put on the school broadcast as advertising. Graphics students can take pictures at the event and put them on the event’s website as well as create posters to put around Coronado before the event.
3.) Graphics students can create posters and banners as advertising or signs for the event. We can also take pictures at the event, create a large slideshow, and put this on the website for others to view.

ReplyDelete2. My idea is that the Filmmaking Department should do a video that they play that is about the beautiful land of Coronado that many people over look. It could be playing on a screen.
3. For my strand I don’t know what they can do unless they take pictures of the land, that captures beautiful, special moments that people can share with the land on coronado and they could be put up around the entrance of the event.

ReplyDelete2. Like the lady at the presentation talked about earlier, the Filmmaking and Digital Media department can make a documentaty about the whole event. This wouuld incorporate the before, during, and after the event pictures and video of the performers. I think it could be a really interesting and well put together piece for CoSA and the Sacred Sky Sacred Earth company.
3. Our strand can make more posters for the event and maybe post them around town or we could create a website of pictures and video from the event.

ReplyDelete2. Well, the video people could record it and make a mini-documentary. Any people doing photography could take photographs of the event (although I'm sure most people that attend will want to partake in the actual experience, not partake in cosa.

ReplyDelete2. The film department can make a cool video or documentary about the whole event, the graphics people can make posters/flyers to hangup around all of Coronado to advertise like in Starbucks or at the public library, and animation can just attend and show support.

3. Animating the Sacred Sky, Sacred Earth event as an inspiration. By animating the waves, listening to the sounds and see the performers dancing. It will be an amazing moment.

2) Digital media could only contribute if the are screens and projectors on the beach. digital media could compose a series of relaxing images and videos.
3) As film we could green screen dancer on to our relaxing background that we film ourselves.

3. We can have a long artistic shot of the coronado beach, like video a whole day and night and fast forward so you see sunrise and sunset and all the people that come and go. This way we can show the beauty of our beach at every time of the day and also show all the people that come to enjoy its beauty.

ReplyDelete2. For the Sacred Sky Sacred Earth Event, we could put up a giant sheet and then project a video about nature (that we make) on the sheet. We could add peaceful, yet suspenseful music to the video. In the background, a voice would give a brief introduction of Sacred Sky Sacred Earth, and the importance of both the arts and the earth.
3. For my strand, I think it would be cool for someone to go out and photograph UNIQUE scenes from nature. We could create a gallery of sorts, consisting of sheets that we put up with our pictures projected onto them. People could walk through the "gallery" before they go to watch the main event.

ReplyDelete2. If the Digital Media department were to collaborate on an idea, I think a documentary focusing on the CoSA students participating in Sacred Sky, Sacred Earth would be interesting.
3. I like the idea of making poster advertisements for the event. I would like to take pictures during the event itself to experiment with night photography and long exposures.
