  1. 1. La Jolla Art and Wine Festival
    2. Saturday, October 9th, 2010
    3. Event admission is $15 for a two-day pass, $10 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under, military, and senior (65 and above) and free for children 2 and under.
    4. The event mostly showcases both emerging and established artists, while at the same time providing the attendees with a myriad of food vendors and wine selections. This is the Festival's second year in existence.

    6. A piece that I would like to do that is related to the theme of this festival is a college. Collages are something that I've always liked creating but never have done in CNMA. I make them out of magazine material, not newspaper. This can be limiting, but I like the texture of the magazine material and the final product look better.

    4. The two day event, Art Mart, is a chance for all artists to display and sell their pieces. It is also a chance to walk around and see new and creative pieces of work. You can browse through jewlery, sulptures, woodwork, paintings, and more. Its sounds very fun, you should go.

    4. A night of Indian culture including cultural performances, an outdoor procession, lamp lighting, henna. and Indian food.

    4. The Venice Art Crawl is a free monthly exploration of the Venice Beach area and the world famous Venice artist community and spirit. During the long history of the Venice Boardwalk area it has served as a home for artists, a haven of creativity, and the place to find many famous galleries. The Art Crawl is an event to help local artists show their art. In recent years areas such as Downtown, Culver City and Silverlake, in an effort to assist spurring local economy have started their own Art Walks.

Recognizing a need for greater diversity on campus, the series will draw from around the globe to present movies that may challenge, inspire or simply entertain. The weekly screenings will be on Wednesday and Sunday nights (And other select dates, as they arise) in the School of Cinematic Arts Complex, George Lucas Building.
