Sometimes we hammer through a concept until every student understands the entirety of it. Sometimes we leave the classroom physically. But we always leave it mentally.
ReplyDelete2. This teacher keeps my attention by being simply fantastic. This teacher commands the respect and attention of his students by treating them with respect and paying close attention to their needs and their confusions. He is the kind of teacher that you want to treat with the utmost respect and admiration because he respects and admires the world around him.
3. I think that the biggest reason for my connection with this teacher is because he reminds me of a person that I love and care very deeply for. So even when I exited his classroom for the first time, I was slightly biased because of my recognition of the similarities. When an individual is in awe of how the universe functions and of knowledge itself, I usually have a very high level of respect and admiration for them. This teacher has recognized me as an individual and (it seems) he truly cares about me and every other student. I think that because I am also the type of person who never stops asking questions, this teacher has seen this in me and he respects it.
4. This teacher takes the two-dimensional words and brings them off the paper. He uses his students as props in his lectures and examples. He asks the students to work on their own, and when one understands the concept and another does not, he asks for the comprehender to become the teacher to the student who hasn't yet grasped the concept. He makes the classroom and interactive environment, instead of a set for a still-life portrait.

It was a very relaxing environment.
ReplyDelete2. The only time I had to pay attention in this class was when the teacher was explaining to us what our next project would be. This usually didn't take long, and the teacher didn't do anything specific that made me pay more attention than I would have. I usually just sat and listened.
